Decolonization Dilemmas: What’s Current and What’s Needed

Scientific Abstract

Nearly three-quarters of responding facilities reported using some form of decolonization, with prevention of progression to infection identified as the most important desired outcome. Half reported unmet decolonization needs, particularly for gram-negative MDROs, underscoring the need for effective products and standardized, evidence-based decolonization protocols.
