The SHEA Education & Research Foundation, formed in 2011, is dedicated to advancing the field of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship through education and research.

Mission

The SHEA Education & Research Foundation is dedicated to furthering the education and advancement of professionals in the field of healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention globally. It is a charitable education organization dedicated to strengthening the scholarship and expertise of emerging and current healthcare epidemiologists, including physicians, scientists, health care professionals, and promoting better understanding of infection prevention in the general public.
