The SHEA Education & Research Foundation, formed in 2011, is dedicated to advancing the field of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship through education and research.
The Foundation has three areas of focus:
The SHEA Education & Research Foundation is dedicated to furthering the education and advancement of professionals in the field of healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention globally. It is a charitable education organization dedicated to strengthening the scholarship and expertise of emerging and current healthcare epidemiologists, including physicians, scientists, health care professionals, and promoting better understanding of infection prevention in the general public.
SHEA awards recognize the contributions and accomplishments of our members that have had a meaningful impact. Join us in celebrating our colleagues who have given so much to SHEA and the fields of healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention, and antibiotic stewardship.
The SHEA Research Network (SRN) is a consortium of over 100 unique healthcare facilities collaborating on multicenter research projects in healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship.
The International Ambassadors Program (IAP) is dedicated to building collaborative relationships between U.S. and international healthcare professionals with expertise in healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention.
The SHEA Foundation develops quality training for future leaders in healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship. Your generous donation will help to make healthcare safer.
