Senior Scholarship Award

SHEA’s Senior Scholarship Award recognizes the work of an investigator/practitioner in infection prevention/healthcare epidemiology in practice for 15 years or more. The award recipient will receive $1,250. Selection will be based on the breadth and quality of the nominee’s contributions to infection prevention/healthcare epidemiology. The Call for Applications is open. The deadline to submit applications is April 22, 2024.

Eligibility

  1. SHEA member in good standing.
  2. In practice for 15 years or more (starting from the time of completion of fellowship training).

Nomination Procedure

  1. A nomination letter from a SHEA member summarizing the nominee’s contributions to infection prevention and control/healthcare epidemiology
  2. Nominee’s CV
  3. Letter no longer than one page of nominee’s goals and interest in infection prevention and control/healthcare epidemiology
