Pediatric Scholarship Award

SHEA’s Pediatric Scholarship Award is intended to recognize the work of an investigator/practitioner in pediatric infection prevention and control/healthcare epidemiology. Awardees will receive $1,250. Selection will be based on the breadth and quality of the nominee’s contributions to the field of pediatric infection prevention/healthcare epidemiology. The Call for Applications will open in February 2025.

Eligibility

1. SHEA member in good standing.
2. Significant contributions to pediatric infection prevention/healthcare epidemiology

Nomination Procedure:

1. A nomination letter from a SHEA member summarizing the nominee’s contributions to infection prevention and control/healthcare epidemiology
2. Nominee’s CV
3. Letter no longer than one page of nominee’s goals and interest in infection prevention, healthcare epidemiology, or antibiotic stewardship
