Antibiotic Stewardship Scholarship Award

SHEA Antibiotic Stewardship Scholarship Award recognizes the work of an investigator/practitioner in antibiotic stewardship that has been involved in stewardship for 5 years or more. The award consists of $1,250 and a plaque. Selection will be based on the breadth and quality of the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship programs and research. The Awards Committee will recommend the finalist to the SHEA Board of Trustees for approval. The Call for Applications will open in February 2025.

Eligibility

  1. SHEA member in good standing
  2. In practice for 5 years or more (starting from the time of completion of fellowship training)

Nomination Procedure

  1. A nomination letter from a SHEA member summarizing the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship
  2. Nominee’s CV
  3. Letter no longer than one page of nominee’s goals and interest in antibiotic stewardship
