SHEA Antibiotic Stewardship Scholarship Award recognizes the work of an investigator/practitioner in antibiotic stewardship that has been involved in stewardship for 5 years or more. The award consists of $1,250 and a plaque. Selection will be based on the breadth and quality of the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship programs and research.
The Call for Applications is open through June 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
Eligibility
- SHEA member in good standing
- In practice for 5 years or more (starting from the time of completion of fellowship training)
- Prior recipients are ineligible for this award.
Nomination Procedure
- A nomination letter from a SHEA member summarizing the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship. This should be from someone who knows you well and can speak to your qualifications for this award.
- Nominee’s CV
- Letter no longer than one page of nominee’s goals and interest or for those more advanced in their careers achievements in antibiotic stewardship.
