SHEA Antibiotic Stewardship Scholarship Award recognizes the work of an investigator/practitioner in antibiotic stewardship that has been involved in stewardship for 5 years or more. The award consists of $1,250 and a plaque. Selection will be based on the breadth and quality of the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship programs and research. The Call for Applications is open through May 23, 2025.
Eligibility
- SHEA member in good standing
- In practice for 5 years or more (starting from the time of completion of fellowship training)
- Prior recipients are ineligible for this award.
Nomination Procedure
- A nomination letter from a SHEA member summarizing the nominee’s contributions to antibiotic stewardship. This should be from someone who knows you well and can speak to your qualifications for this award.
- Nominee’s CV
- Letter no longer than one page of nominee’s goals and interest in antibiotic stewardship
